Who are Outsider Garage?

They're attempting to not only extend the life of our beloved Nissan Skylines but do it with innovation and a pride of 100% US made products.

Outsider Garage

Steve and Brandon, both NY state natives, met in the Outsider_Skylines Facebook group and through the memes and banter, their shared interest in Skylines/RB engines is what brought them together.

Business originally started out as a re-seller of popular JDM products, but the real start to things was with drive-by-wire products. And it is this very product that has become their bestseller.

They started with just the adapters, but since have made full kits which include IACV block off plates, multiple wiring options including full wiring harnesses, pedals, throttle bodies and more.

This type of upgrade is great because it brings these older cars/engines into a more modern era and eliminates some of the more troublesome features of the antiquated engine management of the past. Outside of the incredible performance improvements, having modern accessible parts also makes sourcing replacement parts much easier.

Why Drive-By-Wire?

• Eliminate sticking/leaky cable throttles and throttle bodies
• Eliminate dirty old idle air control valves
• Improve throttle response
• “Point and Shoot” idle control
• Cruise control
• Race features such as auto throttle blips on downshifts and much more!

Benefits of the OG kits are:

• High Quality Aluminium CNC parts
• Complete kit for your manifold/chassis
• All gaskets and hardware is included
• Many wiring options to choose from
• Genuine Bosch & Nissan Parts

Meet the boys!

Brandon’s favourite product is the R35 coil pack conversion kit. He installed it on his RB20DET and in his R32 GTS-t sedan. Simple, efficient and looks fantastic.

Steve’s easy favourite is the drive-by-wire but coming in a close second is the IGN-1A Coil bracket.

It’s clear they were meant to start Outsider garage together as they both kicked off their JDM collections with R32 Sedans.
