How much do you trust your 350Z Co- Pilot?

We’re comparing the OG grab handle and cap against the refresh release for the 350Z Z33. Once installed there is very little aesthetic difference, it will all come down to your how to take corners…. and the grip of your co-pilot.

The OG is primarily black plastic with silver metal insert cap, with one waterfall edge and a framed edge on the other.

The Refresh Kit is a much heftier design, coming in at near double the weight of the OG (245 grams vs 125 grams), which is a pretty good indication of the vulnerability of the first grab handle release.

The refresh kit is a sturdier white plastic design with the same interior trim and silver metal cap, with 2 waterfall edges.

The silver cap easily clips into the grab handles and no other new fittings are required to switch over to your new handle.

Normally Nissan would just supersede to the refresh kit, however we can only theorise that the testers either had nerves of steel or weren’t quite handling the roads like the average 350z driver.
